Rene Naccachian became interested in acupuncture in 1974.when a long-term sports injury was healed in Taiwan after acupuncture masters treated him

Traditional and scientific, Oriental and Western, the ACMOS Method will be acclaimed, without doubt, this century, as one of the methods that contributed to a great change in medicine.

Using the discoveries of Ernst Lecher and Reinhold Völl and adapting them to the needs of a new energetic medicine, René Naccachian fundamentally inspired by acupuncture, has devised a method of diagnosis and therapy that at first glance seems quite revolutionary.

What brought you to create Acmos Method?

It all started 30 years ago with an accident which should have at that time immobilized one of my knees. Western medicine judged the case hopeless, I benefited from one of my trips to China which I visited frequently as Advisor to the Foreign Trade of France, to be treated by an acupuncturist.

The result: Not only did I save my knee but I restarted playing tennis (which is my passion) and began entering tournaments.

I was amazed! I returned several times to the Far East in order to study Chinese Medicine in one of the rare Universities which taught both Oriental and Occidental Medicine. That is how I became a doctor of Energetic Medicine (acupuncture and homeopathy) and in Alternative Medicine, then PH.D. in Molecular Biology, in Science and even in Philosophy.

Armed with this research, I decided to research all that touched the energetic aspect of man. It is without doubt because I was an Engineer specializing in measuring instruments that it suddenly became apparent that I should measure the bioenergetic aspects of man.

At first my research consisted of verifying, by measurement, the efficiency of the stimulation of acupuncture points on western people. I wanted to know if the same points had the same effect on people living under different geographic areas. I discovered that this was not the case, because these people are not subjected to the same cosmotelluric tensions.

Certain traditional Chinese propositions were discarded each time they did not confirm their application to non-Chinese subjects. Then, I experimented with stimulation of the points, but not with needles but with specific vibratory impulses that reproduced the natural phenomenon of energetic regulation.

What does the abbreviation ACMOS stand for?

"Analysis of the Compatibility of Matter on the Organism and its Synergy". In fact, its aim is not only to re-establish the energetic circuits of organs and metabolism but also to check the compatibility of the organism with food, medicine and its environment.

For example, concerning medicines, many doctors have a tendency to prescribe too many medicines. Therefore each time you add a medicine to your prescription, you have a 50% increased risk of the medicines not being compatible. Instead of helping the patient, these medicines cause disorder, or side effects, because they don't go together.

It is for this reason that I find it necessary to measure the energetic compatibility between the patient and their different medicines, in order to establish with scientific precision, the choice of the medicine, its dosage and its effectiveness.

Another example: let's say that the electromagnetic emissions of this desk lamp affect me. My cells, therefore, will start defending against the unit and at the end of one hour I will feel tired or I will have a headache... so why not be able to measure the electrical emissions of household appliances and their disturbing effects on our organism in order to protect ourselves from this kind of pollution?

Here again, it is our method and our instruments which will permit us to do so.

Does this method have therefore a more preventative aim?

Our aim is to re-establish the energetic qualities which the body has shut down and which causes it to become incapable of facing its daily matters, sickness, stress and allergies.

It is indeed prevention, but let us remember that the energetic blockages are not due to the person itself, they are a result of dead or degenerated cells that the body cannot eliminate.

But the Acmos method also proposes to doctors a means that allows them to treat the lesion more effectively. So, when the patient’s energetic balance is re-established, they would require 10 or 20 times less medicine and for the person being operated upon, five times less anaesthetic.

What therapeutic means and types of diagnosis does this method use?

The diagnosis in question is evidently an energetic report. It’s based on the bioelectrical measurement of the end points of the acupuncture meridians and on the detection of the very fine energetic fields and cosmo-telluric channel of the human being.

The session takes place in 3 phases : we measure the fields to know if the energetic symmetry is disturbed and to define the levels of the disorder.

The reason why we start by measuring the level of the disturbance is to ensure that we work on the deepest level before the surface. The surface may be deficient because the problem originates at a deeper level. Therefore it is sufficient to fix the cause at the deeper level in order to correct the surface or symptoms.

Next we measure each meridian circuit: lungs, heart, spleen, etc. and finally we stimulate the energetic points. Naturally, beyond these three phases, we would test the vibratory quality of a therapeutic product or food and to search for any environmental aggressions... but all this can only be done with the help of the instruments.

What are these instruments?

First of all, there is the ACMOS Lecher Antenna (ALA) which is a scientific instrument, no matter what anyone can think, because it was a famous German physician who found the principle. This simple Antenna has a graduated scale that allows you to tune into wave frequencies, has various functions: it can test the human energetic fields, vibratory quality of products as well as detect the waves in the environment. Globally we can say that it detects the problem.

Another apparatus is the Energetic tester which explores the quality of your meridian circuit. The tester indicates at which organ the blockage is located and distinguishes if it is the organ which is the cause or its circuit. This second apparatus will therefore tell us precisely where the problem is found, something we had detected globally in the first phase of the session.

Additionally, the tester permits us to demonstrate immediately the results of an ACMOS remedy (known as Harmony) or an energetic stimulation on an organ.

Finally, the energetic stimulator will re-establish the efficiency of the circuit. By vibratory resonance it reduces the blockages identified by the tester and re-establishes the energetic circulation according to the program defined by the ACMOS Bioenergetician.

How is it different from electro-acupuncture?

Electro-acupuncture uses milliamperes while we only use micro-amperes. With our method, the body responds to very weak impulses and is able to re-balance itself, we just give it a helping hand. I insist on saying that all these practices are original and they constitute an evolution and an objectivity of what the Orientals applied in an empirical manner, at the most confirmed by philosophical reasoning.

What are the theoretical fundamentals of your method?

Well, we obviously view the human being as an energetic entity which receives and emits vibrational waves. These waves produce electromagnetic and thermic fields, according to the laws of physics. Actually, three of these fields are scientifically identifiable and measurable by our method :

   - Centrifugal (Symptomatic Field) which is closest to the body and reflects the surface problems and the state of the immediate defense (the problems appearing in this field are usually provoked by deep disorders).

   - The Centripetal Field, the deep field which demonstrates the real cause/s of the problem.

   - The Vibratory Field, which expresses the quality of vital radiance (which can be subject to reducing factors due to parental, chromosomal, genetic and even atavistic inheritance, or even in the present life, integrating all psychological or physical shocks.)

These three fields are therefore the reflection of the energetic circulation of all of us at different levels : defense, earth, heredity and vitality.   It is because we recognize the different levels that, in the Acmos Protocol, we do not treat the symptoms as long as the origin of the disorder in the deepest part of the person has not been identified and treated.

How is ACMOS different?

The essential oils, herbs, homeopathy or other substances that we use, serves as vibratory impulses which are applied to the organism in the exact spot where there is a missing impulse to re-establish an energetic blockage.

This explains why ACMOS products should not be taken as normal remedies. For example, the essential oils should never be swallowed but placed on a chakra or on a specific spot…

In our system, the essential oils work on the hereditary quality. The herbs take care of all the symptoms which correspond to the weakness of the moment, homeopathy mainly treats the psychological levels. And we use the colours to work on elimination.
So therefore, instead of making you swallow products to eliminate on the surface, we prefer to use colour therapy to ensure the evacuation of your dead cells by the lymphatic circuit, in ACMOS is the main system of evacuation of cells.

Therefore, each category of remedy constitutes a specific range; and we scan, range by range, every level of our constitution: metabolic, hormonal, psychological, superficial, hereditary, elimination etc. To do so, we confront you with all the range of products and as soon as you find yourself in contact with the impulse missing in your organism, a tension is determined which we repair with our instruments.

How long does the treatment last ?

Sometimes a single session is enough. But most people need 5-10 sessions of coming roughly every 6 weeks. In general, the older you are or used to living in an environment full of stress, the less the body can assume its work rapidly.

Is your method well known ?

Increasingly! We have about 50 centres including United Kingdom, Belgium, Turkey, Italy, the United States, India, Canada and of course France (24 centres in France, 10 of which are in Paris). Here in Paris, I teach individuals, doctors, and even instructors, in classes of more than 70 students; a bioenergetician diploma is obtained at the end of the studies. We also create office groups, in the frame of continuous training, to teach their employees how to manage their energy.

Up to this date, we have trained in all about 3000 people, 300 of which are practicing exclusively the ACMOS Bioenergy Global Balance techniques.

Increasingly doctors! But also nurses, kinesiologists, in fact, all those who are seeking a simple method to put to use in daily life which can allow you to measure your compatibility with food and environment. With our twenty-first century lifestyle: aggressions, horrors we see on TV, loud noise and pollution, the body is increasingly immobilized, it organizes itself less and less and will always be out of balance.

That's why a method of energetic regulation is necessary. Energy is the essential dimension of life! Presently, it isn't taken into consideration by the medical world. Why? Because till now it could not be measured, now this isn't true: the ACMOS Method has rendered it perfectly measurable !
