MAGNETIC AXIS: Magnetic Axis is the first and the most important consideration before providing
any Vastu Norms to the plot.
One should have a good understanding of the basics of Magnetic Axis and its readings.
A few Fundamental Guidelines are elaborated as under:
One should have a good compass and should be able to read it correctly. Electromagnetic disturbances
can shift or deviate the compass readings.
Geographical Magnetic Axis with and True Magnetic Axis has different impact on the plot
and its behaviour.
Plot orientation along the axis is considered as an auspicious Magnetic Axis of plot and the
building should be parallel.
Average between Magnetic North and Geographical North should be taken, 22.5 (degree) deviation
should be considered.
PlOTS WITH ROADS:
The plots having road on one side and when facing North and East Road are
good for overall prosperity.
The plots having road on both sides and when facing North and East Road are
good for overall prosperity.
Plot facing (covered by roads on three sides) three side roads are weak plots.
It can be improved by providing passage on fourth side.
Plot facing roads on all sides are the best plots.
Plot facing roads with T-Junction are weak plots.
The plot at the end of the roadis not a good plot.
SHAPES:
A square shaped and a rectangular shaped plot both are good for overall prosperity.
The 'Dholak' shaped and Cart shaped plots are weak plots.
The Hand Fan shaped and Reverse chart shaped plots are weak plots.
Star shape, trapezium shape, oval shape and circular shape are irregular shaped plots.
PLOT EXTENSIONS & REDUCTIONS:
A plot with an extension at North East corner is good for overall prosperity and health.
A plot with extension at South Eastcorner is characterized by legal litigation, fire, theft.
A plot with extension at South West corner is characterized by loss of ambitions
and various problems.
A plot with reduction at North West corner is good for growth and prosperity.
SLOPES:
If the land higher on South and lower towards North it is good for overall growth.
If the land is higher on North and lower on South it is inauspicious.
If the land is higher on West and lower in East it indicates prosperity.
If the land higher on East and Lower in West it indicates financial loss.
If the land higher on South West and lower in North East is auspicious.
If the land higher on North East and lower in South West indicates ill health.
ENTRANCE GATE:
For plot having two adjoining roads, the main Entrance Gate should be provided from
Shorter Side,i.e., WIDTH.
